I found this video to be very compelling. What do others think?

He’s appealing (tho he calls it reasoning) to their intellect … and if someone comes to understanding of the gospel only through intellect, how is that different from eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? They’ve gained knowledge through intellect but have they really seen proof (evidence) of the existence of God, or have they just latched on to evidence of evidence … in other words, have they accepted faith in faith? It seems a person who relies on their own intellect for the stability of their life would continue to seek intelligence to evolve.
Excellent point, Laura! Actually, later in the video, I think he says effectually the same thing when he says, “let me now appeal to your conscience instead of your intellect,” and that’s the point where people seem to start seriously evaluating things and even make changes to follow Christ.
